Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) parks manages more than 16,000 acres of recreational lands along the lower Colorado River from the Texas Hill Country to the Gulf Coast. The properties include developed parks, lake recreation areas, nature preserves, river access sites and natural science centers. Pets are allowed in all LCRA parks, but must be kept on leashes at all times while in the designated camping and picnicking areas. Outside the designated camping and picnicking areas, pets must be kept under their owners’ direct control.
