Louisiana State Parks Pet Policy: All Louisiana State Parks allow pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet, caged or crated. Pets are prohibited at group camps, inside enclosed structures, swimming areas and cabins not designated as dog friendly. Sixteen Louisiana State Parks allow overnight stays with dogs at cabins:

There is a fee of $40 per dog, with a maximum of two dogs per cabin. Guests must prove their dogs are current on all vaccinations and keep their pets on a leash while outside.
