Georgia State Parks Pet Policy: Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed at Georgia State Parks and campgrounds. Some dog-friendly cabins are available. Dogs are welcome on state park trails except specific hikes at Tallulah Gorge and Panola Mountain. There is a fenced dog park at Laura S. Walker State Park. Some parks even offer ranger-led dog hikes. Pets are not allowed in state park and historic site buildings, lodges, yurts, group camps, swimming areas. Kennels are not available.
