Located at 413 S 8th St, Springfield, IL 62701, the Lincoln Home National Historic Site preserves the home and related historic district where Abraham Lincoln lived from 1844 to 1861, and includes the four blocks surrounding the home and a visitor center. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the historic Lincoln era neighborhood. Pets are not allowed in any of the park’s historic buildings including the Lincoln Home and the park’s Visitor Center.
