Situated on the shores of Lake Minnewashta, Lake Minnewashta Regional Park has a fenced-in off-leash dog area, an 18-acre site that includes a separate area for small dogs and approximately one mile of trails. There is also a fenced pond, two large open spaces for interactive play with other dogs and a water fountain for humans and pets (will be available seasonally from May – September). Admittance to the off-leash dog area requires an annual vehicle permit which can be purchased through the honor box at the park entrance by the gate house.
