Located at Lassen Peak Hwy, Mineral, CA 96063, Lassen Volcanic National Park Campgrounds include 7 campgrounds ranging from primitive and remote to developed and easier accessed; the smallest at 18 sites to the largest at 179 sites. All campsites have picnic tables, fire rings, and bear-proof storage lockers. RVs and trailers are best accommodated at Manzanita Lake, Butte Lake, and Summit Lake Campgrounds. There are no hook-ups in the park. A dump station is available at Manzanita Lake. Southwest Campground is open year-round and changes to oversnow camping in the winter/spring snowy months. All other campgrounds are open approximately May/June through September/October. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the campgrounds, but are not permitted on trails.
