Located at 35000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, Leo Carrillo State Park Campground is 28 miles northwest of Santa Monica on the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1). The beach has tidepools, coastal caves and reefs for exploring; giant sycamores shade the main campgrounds. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the day use areas, campground and north beach (north of lifeguard tower 3). Dogs are not allowed on back country trails or south beach (south of lifeguard tower 3).
