Pets are allowed in some Florida State Park Campgrounds, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet, confined, or otherwise under the physical control of a person at all times. At the time of campsite registration, pet owners will be required to show proof of a current rabies vaccination for each pet. A pet fee will be charged to help offset any additional staff costs to the park. Pets must be confined in the owner’s camping unit during designated quiet time hours, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The number of pets allowed is variable by park depending on the campsite types and buffer zones available, but shall not exceed four. Pets are not permitted in state park cabins, cottages or lodges.
