In Big Bend National Park, there are three front country campgrounds: Chisos Basin Campground, Cottonwood Campground (near Castolon) and Rio Grande Village Campground. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the campgrounds, and anywhere vehicles can go. Pets are not permitted on trails, off-roads, or on the river.
