Located at 10 Organ Pipe Dr, Ajo, AZ 85321, Oregon Pipe Cactus National Monument Campgrounds are in the Sonoran Desert. There are two campgrounds within the monument: Twin Peaks Campground located 1.5 miles from the Kris Eggle Visitor Center and Highway 85; and Alamo Campground located at the end of the Alamo Canyon Road. Twin Peaks Campground has 34 tent-only sites and 174 places for RVs. Several sites can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. Restrooms have running water and a few have solar showers. Hookups for electricity, water, or sewer are not available. A dump station, with potable water is located past the last row of campsites. Alamo Campground has four (4) tent-only sites that are surrounded by a quiet desert landscape. Motorhomes and trailers are not permitted. Facilities include four campsites with charcoal grills, tables, pit toilets, and trash cans. Water is not available and wood fires and ground fires are not allowed. Generators are prohibited 24 hours a day. Pets on a leash are allowed and all roads open to visitors, including the paved campground areas; on the Palo Verde Trail; and Campground Perimeter Trail. Pets are not permitted on any other trails or in the wilderness.
