Yarmouth’s only public sandy beach, Sandy Point Beach Yarmouth is located just over the bridge to Cousin’s Island. The beach parking area is located on the Cousins Island side of the Ellis C. Snodgrass Memorial Bridge, commonly called the Cousins Island Bridge. An access road leads from the west side of the lot down to the beach near the bridge. Most of the beach is covered at high tide, so it is best to arrive close to low tide and you can begin the walk here at the sandy beach adjacent to the bridge. Portable toilet, no lifeguards, no snack bars, no shower facilities. Dogs are allowed off-leash at the beach between November 1-March 31. Between April 1 and October 31, no dogs are permitted on or off leash at the beach.
