Surfside Beach Town Beach is located in the heart of South Carolina’s Grand Strand area, minutes south of Myrtle Beach. Visitors may access the beach from any of the town’s 36 access points. From May 1 through Labor Day dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. All other times leashed dogs are allowed on the beach. Horses and other large animals are not allowed on the beach.
