Dogs on a leash are allowed at all town-owned beaches only during the off-season, from October 1st to April 1st. All dogs must be under immediate supervision and control at all times and are not allowed within 50 feet of any areas posted for protection of piping plovers and other endangered species. Dogs are allowed on Ocean and Bay Beach areas within 150 feet of an Access Road regulated as “Parking -by-Permit Only” area before 9am and after 6pm.
