Located at 750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon,CA 93452, William Randolph Hearst Memorial Beach is directly across Highway One from the Hearst Castle. Visitors have the opportunity to hike, swim, fish and beachcomb. A popular beach spot, this protected cove also offers visitors pier fishing. Picnic tables, barbecue grills and restrooms are available. This day use area offers 24 picnic sites, 150 parking spaces, restrooms, water faucets, barbecue grill stands and easy beach access. Dogs on a leash are allowed only on W.R. Hearst Beach and south to Lone Palm Dr. and on boardwalks and campgrounds. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach just a few hundred feet to the right of the pier where signs announce the boundary of the state beach.
