Located just north of Boston, Revere Beach Reservation was the first public beach established in the United States. Hours: dawn to dusk. Sections of the beach are sometimes closed due to Piping Plover nesting. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach during the off-season, from mid-September to April.
