Located at 1775 Port Austin Road, Port Austin, MI 48467, Port Crescent State Park features three miles of sandy shoreline on Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay near Port Austin. It also includes a modern campground and a boardwalk, and offers visitors opportunities for fishing, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, birding and hunting. A section of pet-friendly shoreline is available near the mouth of the Pinnebog River. This area is accessible via the steel bridge that connects to the hiking trails closest to the campground. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet and under an owner’s immediate control at all times.
