Located on the New Jersey shore in Cape May County, Ocean City New Jersey Beaches include eight miles of oceanfront beaches. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach during the off-season, from October 1st to May 1st. Dogs are not allowed on any beach at any time of day between May 1 and Sept. 30, and are not allowed on the Boardwalk at any time of the year. They are also not permitted on the beach between the Ocean City-Longport Bridge and the terminal groin (rock jetty near Seaview Road) at any time from March 15 to Sept. 30.
