New Castle Town Beaches include New Castle Beach, located between the Great Island Common and Ocean Street, and the Great Island Common, comprised of 32 acres of seaside green space and beach. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach during the off-season, from September 16th to May 15th. Dogs are never permitted at state beaches or state parks.
