Nantucket Island Beaches include:
Brant Point Beach, at the end of Easton Street and owned by the US Coast Guard
Surfside Beach, at the end of Surfside road
Cisco Beach, at the end of Hummock Pond Road
Jetties Beach, at 4 Beach Road
Children’s Beach, at Harbor View Way across from Steamboat Wharf
Steps Beach, at 9 Kimball Ave.
Miacomet Beach, at the end of Miacomet Road and Miacomet Pond
Sconset Beach, on Cod Fish Park Road.
There are no admission fees for any of Nantucket’s beaches. Dogs are not permitted on Nantucket Island beaches where lifeguards or endangered species habitat are present. Dogs on a leash are allowed on most of Nantucket’s non-lifeguarded beaches year round. From April 1st – Aug. 31st dogs are only permitted before 9:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. on all designated lifeguard areas. Dogs are not permitted on Surfside Beach or Jetties Beach at any time from June 15 – Sept. 15. Dogs must be leashed on all beaches at all times.
