Located at 16148 Ocean Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576, Huntington Beach State Park is in Georgetown County, SC. The long stretch of beach and the lagoon provide plenty of recreational opportunities. The park is the site of Atalaya, the historic winter home of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the south end of the beach year-round. Dogs are not permitted in buildings, including Atalaya and on the north end of the beach. The north end extends from the beach access at the north parking lot to the jetty.
