OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Located at Lands End Trail, San Francisco, CA 94121, Mile Rock Beach is a rocky, small beach tucked below Lands End Point in San Francisco’s portion of Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Technically part of the Land’s End complex, Mile Rock Beach is best known for its breathtaking Golden Gate Bridge and Point Reyes National Seashore views. The beach is a mile walk from the Lands End Visitor Center along the Coastal Trail. Access the beach from numerous trailheads, but the El Camino Del Mar parking area is the quickest. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the beach.
