Lucky Peak State Park consists of three distinct day use units: Discovery Park, Sandy Point, and Spring Shores. Located at 9725 ID-21, Boise, ID 83716, the park’s Discovery Park day use area includes accessible parking, ramps, an accessible kayak/paddleboard launch, stepping stones along the river bank and a sandy dog beach. Sandy Point, at the base of the Lucky Peak Dam, features a beach and clear, cool water. Spring Shores offers lakeside access with two boat ramps, parking, and a marina. Dogs are allowed on leash unless in a designated off leash area at Spring Shores Marina and Discovery year-round. No pets at Sandy Point between May 1 – October 1.
