OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Lake George Dog Beach in Lake George Village, NY is exclusively for dogs and their owners to enjoy the lake and sandy beach during the summer months. This strip of sand between the Lake George Steamboat Company and Million Dollar Beach on Beach Road is not an official beach – swimming and wading by humans is prohibited – but dogs are allowed. The Dog Cabin, a shop on Beach Road, has adopted the Dog Beach, keeping it clean and safe for man’s best friend. The beach is open in the summer only, from Memorial Day Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend.
