OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Huntington Dog Beach is located in the northwest area of Huntington City Beach, between 21st Street north to Seapoint Street, along the Pacific Coast Highway. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the 1.5 mile stretch of beach. Visitors must stay within the boundaries of Dog Beach — the northern boundary is Seapoint St., the southern boundary is just past Goldenwest St. It’s entirely leash-optional and equipped with 10 doggy bag stations. Although the beach itself is a leash-optional zone, the parking lot and the cliff between PCH and the sand require leashes. There are two metered parking lots at Huntington Dog Beach. Once you park, walk across the bluffs and down to the sands of Huntington Dog Beach. Leashed dogs are also allowed on the Huntington Bike Path, a multi-use route that runs parallel to the beach.
