Half Moon Bay City Beaches include:
Poplar Beach – at the end of Poplar Street west of its intersection with Highway 1, in central Half Moon Bay.
Surfer’s Beach – at the end of Coronado Street, in northernmost Half Moon Bay near El Granada, just south of Pillar Point.
Manhattan Beach (Canada Verde) – in southern Half Moon Bay, accessed via Miramontes Point Road, off of Highway 1, the city owns a portion of the beach located below and adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on City beaches and on City managed portions of the Coastal Trail. Dogs and horses are not permitted on State beaches.
