OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Centerville Beach County Park is located 5 miles west of Ferndale. Directions: turn onto Ocean Ave in the town of Ferndale and follow this road, which becomes Centerville Road, until it meets the ocean and turns south. A parking area is provided at this location right behind the beach. Dogs are allowed off-leash, if under complete control by owner, on the entire beach October – February, and on the waveslope only March – September. Dogs must be leashed in parking lots.
