Located at DE-1, Fenwick Island, DE 19944, Fenwick Island State Park is located three and one-half miles south of Bethany Beach on Delaware Route 1. It offers 355 acres of ocean and bay shorelines. During the season, guarded beaches are provided with restroom facilities, a bathhouse, and food stand. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the park, but are not permitted on swimming and sunbathing beaches from May 1 to September 30. Park rules and regulations also restrict pets from areas such as surfboarding and sailboarding beaches and shorebird nesting areas. All dogs must be licensed, and proof of a rabies vaccination is required.
