Duck Beach is located in the northernmost town in Dare County’s Outer Banks. Visitors and locals can roam 7 miles of beaches that are wide and uncrowded. Dogs are allowed on the beach year-round, and are allowed off-leash on the beach as long as they are under control of the owner. The Town of Duck maintains no public beach access. Access to the Town beach is limited to residents, renters, and their guests. The town does not allow public street parking, and there are no public parking areas at beach accesses. If you bring your pet with you to Duck, please remember to have proper identification on your pet at all times.
