Bolivar Peninsula Beaches offer 27 miles of beach shoreline on the Upper Texas Gulf Coast in Galveston County, and include the communities of Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, Caplen, Gilchrist, and High Island. Vehicles are allowed to drive on, park and enjoy all 27 miles of coastal waters. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach year round.
