Located at 9394 State Highway 361, Corpus Christi, TX 78418, Mustang Island State Park on an unspoiled barrier island on the Gulf Coast of Texas. The town of Port Aransas is located at the northern end of the island. The park encompasses the entire southern third of the island, including 3,955 acres and 5 miles of beach. The city of Corpus Christi includes the northernmost portion of Padre Island and part of Mustang Island between Port Aransas and the park. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach, but are not allowed in designated swimming areas or in any Texas State Park building.
