Located at 1600 N. 25 E., Chesterton, IN 46304, Indiana Dunes State Park is at the north end of State Road 49 in Porter County, and includes more than three miles of beautiful beach along Lake Michigan’s southern shore. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the non-swimming beach only (east of the lifeguarded swimming beach). Dogs are not allowed on the swimming beach.
