Located on the coast of North Carolina in New Hanover County, Carolina Beach Town Beaches are known for the soft sand and great surf. Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be on a leash at all times. From April 1st through Sept. 30th, dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9am-5pm. From Oct. 1st through March 31st, dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach at all hours.
