Coney Island Beach is located on the Atlantic Ocean, from W. 37th Street to Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, NY. Walk along the famous boardwalk, swim or sunbathe on its nearly three miles of sandy beaches, or check out the courts for beach volleyball, handball, and basketball. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach during the off-season, from Oct. 1st to May 1st. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the boardwalk year-round.
