Located on Highway 101 south of Brookings, OR, McVay Rock State Recreation Site is elevated above the ocean. A steep, rocky path leads to the beach. This park does not have a restroom. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach. McVay is also home to one of two designated off-leash dog parks in the Brookings area.
