Located just south of mainland Rhode Island, Block Island Beaches offer 17 miles of shoreline. Dogs on a leash are allowed year-round on the public beaches. Dogs are not permitted near the The Frederick J.Benson Pavillion, located at the heart of Crescent beach, where food is served. Pets are allowed on the Block Island Ferry, free of charge, on both the Traditional and High Speed ferries.
