Located at 300 W. Lake Front Dr., Beverly Shores, IN 46360, Dunbar Beach at Indiana Dunes National Park is in a residential neighborhood on the southern shore of Lake Michigan. The parking lot, at the intersection of Dunbar Avenue and Lake Front Drive, is paved and has facilities; seasonal restrooms and potable water. No lifeguards. Swim at your own risk; rip currents and waves can make swimming hazardous. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach year round.
