Located at 1611 Peninsula Dr., Arcata, CA 95521, Manila Dunes Recreation Area is the section of beach on the Samoa Peninsula that fronts the small community of Manila not far from Eureka and Arcata. Access to the beach is easiest from the Manila Dunes Community Center on Peninsula Drive. From there it’s about a one-third mile walk on a sandy trail through the dunes to Manila Beach. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach.
