Seacliff State Beach is located off Highway 1 on State Park Drive, about 5 miles south of Santa Cruz in the town of Aptos. The beach is most known for the concrete ship SS Palo Alto lying in the water. It is a popular swimming spot, with a long stretch of sand backed by bluffs. There are covered picnic facilities and a visitor center. Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach.
