Located at 5031 Manchester Road, Akron, OH 44319, Portage Lakes State Park offers visitors a variety of outdoor recreational experiences, including boating, swimming and fishing on eight surrounding lakes. There is a lakefront dog park located adjacent to the Bay Side Picnic Area of the main park. The dog park is fenced on three sides and has water access on the fourth where dogs can go for a swim in the lake.
