Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) pet relief areas are located outside the terminal. Pets may be walked in the “grassy areas” at the east end of the terminal building on the lower level, adjacent to Door 1. All pet owners should use the animal relief areas before going through security screening checkpoints due to the lack of pet relief areas inside the concourses. Disposable bags and trash cans are available for your use. For service animal needs inside the concourses, please contact your airline for assistance. All non-service animals, including emotional support animals, will not be allowed in the airport terminal, unless they are traveling with their owner/handler. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
