O’Hare International Airport (ORD) pet relief areas are located inside and outside the terminals.
Inside Security
This SARA is accessible at all times when one is within security:
Terminal 1 C Concourse – Post security, next to gate C10. From gate C10, follow the hallway towards gate C12. The SARA is located on the right wall just past Gate C10.
Terminal 3 Rotunda – Post security, in the Rotunda (between Terminal 2 & Terminal 3). From the Rotunda, take the hallway towards Terminal 2. The SARA is immediately on the left.
Terminal 3 Main Hall – Post security, next to the Lotto booth and down the hall from gate K1. From Gate K1, follow hallway towards L Concourse. The SARA is located on the left wall beyond the security checkpoint and the Lotto booth, approximately 75 steps down the hall.
Terminal 3 Gate L26, end of the hall across from the windows.
Terminal 5 (2) – Post security, near gate M8 and M28. From Gate M8, follow hallway towards Gate M7. SARA is on the left, immediately past M8.
Outside Security
These SARAs are outdoor, gated areas designated for service animal relief and are accessible at all times:
Terminal 1 – Outside Arrivals/lower level Door 1A.The SARA will be toward the left.
Terminal 2 – Outside Arrivals/lower level Door 2A. The SARA will be toward the right.
Terminal 5 – Outside Arrivals/lower level Door 5B. The SARA will be toward the left.
Multi Modal Facility (Rental Cars/Lot F) – The SARA is located immediately North of the lobby.
Terminal 1 Main Hall – Post security, next to the Lotto booth and down the hall from gate K1. From Gate K1, follow hallway towards L Concourse. The SARA is located on the left wall beyond the security checkpoint and the Lotto booth, approximately 75 steps down the hall.
Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
