Bangor International Airport (BGR) pet relief areas are located inside and outside the terminal. The indoor post-security Service Animal Relief area is located on the second floor of the Peter R. D’Erico terminal near Gate 3. The area is furnished with a fire hydrant and artificial turf, a spray hose and waste bags for clean-up, a sink for handwashing and bench seating. The outdoor pet relief area is located at the southeast corner of the terminal and also provides waste disposal bags. This grassy area may be reached by exiting the lower terminal and turning right. The pet area is just beyond the short sidewalk/gravel area by the fence. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
