Albany International Airport (ALB) pet relief areas are located inside and outside the terminal. A post-security animal and pet relief area is on the first floor of Concourse B where Delta and American Airlines have gates. The roughly 10-foot-by-12-foot room is behind a door and equipped with artificial turf over a drainage system, a stump (think of it as a fire hydrant), plastic bags and a hose to clean off the animal. There is a pre-security pet relief area outside in the courtyard to the left as you face the terminal. Passengers should contact their airlines for specific policies and fares for transporting pets in cargo or for traveling with a pet or service animal. Passengers should contact TSA for information on security screening for a pet or service animal.
