The Royal Jordanian pet policy is as follows:
Pets may be transported in the Economy class cabin and in the checked baggage.
The carriage of pets (cats and dogs) in passenger cabin is only permitted in Economy Class Cabins.
The weight of the animal and crate (or pouch) must not exceed 7 kgs/15lbs.
Pets such as dogs, cats accompanying a passenger on the same flight may be accepted as checked baggage. Pets will be treated as excess baggage and cannot be included in the checked baggage allowance.
Falcons may be carried in the cabin on limited occasions, especially in the Gulf area.
Falcons can be carried in Economy class only.
Maximum: two falcons per seat.
Rodents are prohibited carriage on all flights.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
