The Condor Airlines pet policy is as follows:
A limited number of small pets (cats and dogs only) are accepted in the cabin.
The size of the carrier (ventilated and waterproof, lockable and according to the standards of the IATA Live Animal Regulations) may not exceed the maximum hand baggage dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
You cannot carry your pet with you, if you have booked one of the following seats: seats in Business Class on long-haul flights (zone 3-5); any seat at an exit row; any seat behind a partition.
The transport and carriage of animals is only possible on Condor nonstop flights. If you have booked a connecting flight with a partner airline you may contact the airline directly to book the transport and carriage of your pet.
A limited number of dogs and cats can be transported in the cargo hold.
The following breeds are generally not accepted for transportation: Pitbull Terrier, American Pitbull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bullterrier, Bullterrier, Amer. Bulldog, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Kangal (Karabash), Caucasian Ovtcharka, Mastiff, Mastino Napoletano as well as all mixed breeds.
Snub-nosed breeds of dogs and cats are particularly sensitive to temperature and stress. Therefore, Condor does not allow the transport of such dogs or cats because the risk of serious damage to health or, in the worst-case scenario, even death, cannot be excluded.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
