The Air North pet policy is as follows:
Certain pets may travel with you onboard in a secured soft shell kennel that fits under the seat in front of you.
Pet accepted for travel in the cabin are dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds.
One pet per customer – one dog, one cat, one rabbit, or one bird – is allowed.
In most cases pets can be shipped as cargo. Note that it is not possible to ship pets as cargo on all flights due to cargo office hours of operation and, in many instances, pets cannot be shipped as cargo during the holidays.
If you’re planning to travel with your pet as carry-on, checked baggage, or as cargo on any aircraft, you must contact reservations at (867) 668.2228 ext 1 or toll free in North America at 1.800.661.0407 ext 1 prior to travel to ensure space is reserved for your pet.
If space is not reserved, pet acceptance will be on a “first come, first served” basis.
There are no restrictions to the types of live animals that are able to travel as cargo.
Taking a pet to a foreign country involves preparation and planning far in advance of your departure date. Requirements for pet travel to a foreign country are set by the destination country. If you are you traveling to another country and bringing along your pet you’ll need to meet the animal health requirements of the country you are visiting.
