Located at 5355 Graham Hill Rd., Felton, CA 95018, Roaring Camp Railroads is a narrow gauge tourist railroad that starts from the Roaring Camp depot in Felton and runs through a redwood forest up steep grades to the top of nearby Bear Mountain, a distance of 3.25 miles. Depart daily and travel over trestles, through towering redwood groves, and up a winding narrow-gauge grade to the summit of Bear Mountain as conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad, and the forest. Dogs are permitted aboard the Santa Cruz, Big Trees & Pacific Railway, however it is at the discretion of the conductor of whether or not the dog will need to wear a muzzle. Dogs are also permitted aboard the Roaring Camp Redwood Forest Train with limited space – please check with the ticket agent on the day of your visit.
