Located at 6600 Hidden Valley Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92011, Poinsettia Dog Park is south of the entrance of Poinsettia Community Park. Opening daily at 8 a.m., the park features two fenced-in sections – a 20,000-square foot area for larger dogs and a 7,700-square foot one for smaller dogs. Both areas are fitted with agility equipment, drinking fountains, bag dispensers, and picnic tables. Additional shaded picnic tables are located outside the dog park’s two sets of double-entry gates. Other features near the dog park include a new parking lot with 37 spaces, four with EV charging stations, just south of the pickleball courts, and a new restroom building situated at the northwest corner of the parking lot.
