Elk Neck State Park includes 2,188 acres of sandy beaches, marshlands, and heavily wooded bluffs overlooking the North East River, the Elk River and the Chesapeake Bay. Pets allowed in campground (except Bohemia, Chester, Tred Avon, and Sassafras loops, rustic cabins and the youth group camping area) and in all day-use areas, including North East Beach area (except for sandy portion of swimming beach area from Memorial Day weekend until after Labor Day).
