Klamath National Forest Campgrounds offer 34 campgrounds and 10 picnic areas including some sites that are wheelchair accessible and some for horsemen. Additionally, there are many dispersed camping areas just off the main highways. All campgrounds are first come, first served with the exception of group camps. All campgrounds provide campers with a table, a fire ring or camp stove and restrooms. Not all locations have drinking water. There are no hook-ups or showers. Depending on the weather, most campgrounds open mid to late May and stay open until the water systems are shut down for the winter in October. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the campgrounds.
